Beyond the mountains, in land so far,
Sat below the tree a maiden of golden heart,
She was Sufi, poetic beauty,
Waiting for her love, she spent long nights plenty,
Rising from her came verses of longing,
And filled the trees, garden, hills with songs of belonging,
Her love was not lost but a warrior from far,
He heard her cries, from River, moons and stars
Mounting on his horse he also searched thee,
Thirsty for the sweet voice of his dreams,
And the day which sun shined more bright,
The lonely warrior saw his bride,
The maiden of flowers a singing beauty,
Taken by the warrior and hearts were no longer empty..
